Lip Fillers

Belotero lip filler is an injectable filler which contains Hyaluronic Acid.

If you are looking for fuller lips, a lip augmentation may might be right for you. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the body and is hydrophilic (attracts water). It works by drawing water from the surrounding tissue, adding volume and hydrating the skin.

A topical anaesthetic is applied to numb the treatment area. The filler is injected into the lips giving volume and shape.

Tenderness and swelling can occur which is expected and resolves after a few days. It is advisable to avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories and asprin for 24 hours post treatment.
